What is Charm School?

Charm school according to dictionary is a “school where social graces are taught”.

Honestly, I was a bit surprised the two words were listed as a phrase in the dictionary.

And yes, the definition is exactly how I would define charm school.  A brief description – that is.

Another definition of a different kind of “charm” school is this one that I found in Google:

“I went to Charm School when I was younger, but it was nothing like this.”

Charm School was presumably a school that provided specialized education in the field of Charms and perhaps other wizard courses for children before the commencement of their education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

This one makes me laugh because I bet so many children would love to attend this program with Harry Potter at Hogwarts!  Can I sign up please?
