You will enjoy teaching manners more in 2022.  I promise.

Each new year greets us with promise and new desires that we know can easily be incorporated into our life.

This year feels to me more promising than ever for many reasons.

Here are my thoughts on why I think you will enjoy teaching manners more in 2022.

  1. Building and re-building “community” is on all of our minds. The lack of  connecting with friends, families and business associates has left a void in our lives.  Because of this, educators and parents are looking for ways to creatively reconnect.  As an etiquette expert, you will be one to make this all important connection in your community.  And the best part is, you and your students will have fun doing it.

2. Schools and parents are looking for ways to “up-level” the experience and this is always loads of fun because you can use your creativity.  Instead of teaching only in a classroom setting, your manners class becomes more of an “event” or theme based.

Last year, an event was planned around afternoon tea.  This was a beautiful mother daughter affair.  Nothing was spared.  The audience enjoyed learning about afternoon tea, the history and of course how to hold a tea cup.  The children were so engaging and the mothers so appreciative of the manners lesson tucked in amongst the beauty and food.

3. High School students really need your help. Whether we like to admit or recognize it, this age group has been hit really hard.  Are they ready for the college years and beyond?  Are they able to get a summer job or intern with a local company?

This is where you come in- they need you to teach them those ever important life skills.  High School students need your help to get ready for internships, polish their interview skills and the confidence needed to go into their adult life.
