Schools need you to teach manners to children: That’s right!  The Ohio Board of Education announced their focus will be less on testing and more on social skills.  More states will follow. In fact, I have heard many school districts in Florida are now following this initiative.

This is a big deal.  Teaching manners to children is becoming mainstream. How Do I Start Teaching Manners in My School District?  Who Do I Contact?

There are many opportunities to start teaching manners within schools.

After-School Programs: private, public and charter schools offer after-school programs.  The after-school classes usually last one hour and run for 4-8 weeks.

Classroom Instruction: Teaching in the classroom is ideal and you can reach so many students by offering this type of instruction.  Manners To Go provides you will all the tools and activities for an engaging and interactive experience.

School Assemblies: This is a “wow” experience!  Schools offer assemblies to reach a wide audience.  Many districts receive grants which fund this type of programming.
